Varkala Beach
by SirRichard
Varkala (50 kms north of Trivandrum) is a wonderful little paradise. It has a nice cozy beach, fantastic cliffs with palm trees and is one of the main pilgrimage centers in the State.
Though it has a very touristic side (up in the cliffs), you can still find unspoiled places if you go to the town or visit the temples.
