Good value with a view!
We found this hotel to be very pleasant - it is on two floors with a roof terrace restaurant, and the stairs open to the sky which makes everything nice and cool. The rooms are well-appointed and clean and the staff are friendly.
We were there in Feb 2009, and were offered a double room with bathroom for 550rupees (which is the price advertised on the website). We actually managed to haggle it down to 200 rupees - I don't think there were many people around! (It might sound a bit stingy, but as our budget was fairly tight, we tried to find rooms for 200-300rupees everywhere we went, which enabled us to travel for longer, so still helping the economy!)

On a budget and want hot water
If you are on a budget and want a nice hot shower and great service...Hotel Lakeside is a great place. After traveling through Delhi, Agra and all over Rajastan...Hotel Lakeside offered the best hot shower yet and a nice cup of chai as well.
