This is one of the best hotel to stay in Khajuraho. The green garden is realy beautyful and of course zen. All the staff is very friendly and the manager Rajesh so smart.
Enjoy your journey in this Hotel.

Nice and friendly hotel in the heart of the Town

Khajuraho is a small town with amazing tempels which are really worth the trip. Nevertheless you need about one day to visit them. The town itself felt very relaxing to us, especially after the quite stressful Delhi and Agra.

The Zen Hotel had a big part in this as it is very quiet with a peaceful garden and nice clean an big rooms (of course with AC and and inside bathroom).
The location is on the Main road. Basically there is this one road in town where you can find hotels and you need about 5 minutes walk to get to the tempels (yes - you can walk the distance).

The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed the stay. There was no pushing us into buying or booking something so we found a quiet oasis in the town.

The price is reasonable so there is a good value for money.

Unique Quality: clean rooms, nice garden, relaxing, friendly stuff

Trustworthy, Nice Rooms, Good Food

We had a wonderful time. The nice, friendly staff was extremely helpful. They gave good advice, and they quickly gained our trust, as it was clear that they wanted us to enjoy our stay more than anything else. We enjoyed the food, the rooms were spacious and clean, we had great internet access, and we were only a 5 minute walk from the western temples (excellent location). We loved sitting in the garden in the middle of the hotel.

Cheap hotel on a good place

Good loation on the main road connecting western and eastern temple-groups. Small but reasonably clean rooms, friendly staff, hot shower functioning most of the time.

Apparently quiet window-look into the hotel-garden was in fact the main disadvantage as the evening garden-events with musik mostly did not terminate before 1AM. ¨

Unique Quality: Staying here you have everything to the fore: Restaurant over the street, bicykle-rental directly next to the hotel entrance.
Own hotel-restaurant is quite expensive and therefore not recommendable.

We paid Rs 250,-/night in a double-room in 01/2008. At the end of our stay the receptionist tried to add to our invoice a "luxury tax"(!) but he soon scratched fighting for this absurdity....
