Palatial Hotel
we stayed there for a day in Jan 2009. A film unit was also staying there.
Huge hotel well spread layout.
Huge rooms, rooms were cold in Jan. Food was nice, nothing spectacular. Breakfast was a huge let down, nothing good to eat.

Country Dwelling
The Amar Mahal Resort features a recreation area, a reading café as well as a multi cuisine restaurant. The ceiling of the restaurant is hand painted. You can also use their internet connection. With all the problems with power cuts in India, the hotel has power backup.
From the resort you will be able to see several of the chhatris around the area as well as having a view of the mountains and forests.

Amar Mahal Resort
The Amar Hotel has been built in the Bundelkhand heritage style of a small palace in keeping with the surrounding architecture and is not that old. The hotel is part of the Alsisar group and has 24 deluxe rooms, all with their own bathrooms and all centralising around a landscaped courtyard. All the rooms have air conditioning, hot and cold water and room service is provided.
