More about A S Club
Ho Chi Minh City - Vietnam
This is where my tour group stayed. Very central for walking around and very comfortable. There was a complimentary drink on arrival. A buffet breakfast was included and it was pretty good.
. Restaurant, Disco, Banquet rooms, Health club, Business centre, Mini bar, Karaoke.
K.L :All you could want on a plate...
The only catch is you have to stay at the Ritz!
The best hotel in KL can sometimes be available for less than 400 Ringgit - and this, when translated into western prices is an absolute bargain.
The service levels puts the Ritz in the Five-star bracket, by providing a Butler-service in every room.
"My Man" was available 24 hours a day to provide teas/ coffee (complimentary), run baths, iron newspapers etc. He also serves an impressive breakfast in your room, whipping away large silver domes to reveal your scambled egg on toast.
There is also a "club" which provides free drinks and snacks at various times of the day. My favourite memory was emptying the contents of our rucksacks, and after 3 weeks it was not pleasant, and getting them washed for free.
Not only were they returned but the shirts cam back as new, duly packaged with plastic and cardboard wrapping.
Step into the colonial past in the heart of Mumbai
Mumbai - or Bombay as it was formerly called - boasts a number of superb hotels. For me, though, a trip to Mumbai is a chance to step into the past. Beautifully located near the Gateway to India on the sea shore, the Royal Bombay Yacht Club is a building of proudly decaying grandeur. From the smartly white marine uniformed porters at the door to the little old man who serves a limited and English breakfast, service is old world. As soon as one enters it is like stepping into an Agatha Christie novel. A pipe smoking tweeded chap with handlebar moustaches reading Punch in he corner would not be out of place. The hallways are lofty and solid. The lift is an antique but functions well. There is a members bar where a correct dress code is expected and one might be politely asked to remove ones shopping to ones room as it gives the place the air of a trainstation rather than a gentleperson's establishment. The rooms must once have been splendid. They boast high ceilings, balconies and solid old furniture. Rattletrap air conditioners still do the job admirably and the toilet pots would not look out of place in a museum. However, they certainly don't look out of place here either.
After comfortable nights sleep your door opens upon the morning paper which I inevitably take with me to breakfast. Here you are given a small chit of paper with your choices upon. Eggs - boiled, fried or scrambled, Orange juice or fresh fruit (mango) and tea or coffee. Afterwards, newspaper tucked under my arm and sporting my best linen jacket, I step out into the city streets, feeling like I'm stepping back out of a time machine into the present.
One hitch. To stay there you have to be in an associated yacht club or be recommended by a member. This, though, shouldn't be a problem for anyone with a bit of imagination as the Royal Bombay Yacht Club is associated with most major yacht clubs around the world so get onto your sailor buddy and get it sorted before you arrive there. Views of the Gateway to India. Superb example of colonial India. Atmospheric members bar. Large air conditioned rooms.
Go club hoppin'
JJ's at the Grand Hyatt, dance to your favorite dance tunes downstairs in JJ's, while upstairs you can listen to r&b from the house band usually from the states. Joe Bananas, well you can just get your dance on till way early in the morning. Dress to impress. Now Joe bananas want the men to have a collared shirt on, oh, you can wear shorts and have trainers on, but your shirt must have a collar to it.

CLUB MED KANI ISLAND
HI JUST A QUICK ONE...ANYONE BEEN TO KANI AND IF SO HOW WAS YOUR HOLIDAY RANGING FROM THE ACCOMMODATION TO THE WATER AND THE MEALS.
Re: CLUB MED KANI ISLAND
When you said Kani, is Kanifinolhu in the Maldives?
If your answer is a yes, I've been in Kanifinolhu 5 years ago and the Resort was quite nice, in european terms 4 star ranking. About the water is all alike in the Maldives, superb! And the food is international cuisine, but all with good quality.
Just another remark, in the low-tide it's impossible to have a good swim in the back part of the island, due to the coral reefs.
I hope it helps, if you need some more info don't hesitate.
which is a nice club in mumbai with hindi film songs? I am going to India with americans but they don't want to go to a club which plays western music since you can get that here in the U.S....They want to go to a club with indian music...Or perhaps a mix of hindi and western music...Also what would be the cost? Also are clubs filled and fun to go to during weekdays? Because we're not in mumbai during any friday, saturday or sunday...Thanks..

Bali - Balina Beach - Tips
I am thinking of going to Bali in March.
The accomodation I am considering is Royal Bali Beach Club at Candidasa which is located at Balina Beach on the outskirts of Candidasa.
Can anyone help with tips on what to do in this area?
Is it easy to get around from here?
Any tips on this area or hotel would be highly appreciated.
