One of the better hotels I've stayed in, in India

My room was large and comfortable. It overlooked, as do most President Park rooms, the large swimming pool.

Service -- room and restaurant -- was attentive and courteous. Meals were veg; breakfast was all Indian dishes; other meals included 'Steak a la President,' which was a grilled cottage cheese ball.

The desk clerks were helpful in arranging a day-trip to the Ellora Caves.

Warm and Pleasant Stay At Lemon Tree, Aurangabad

by TripAdvisor Member AnoopJ

Went to Aurangabad to see the Ajanta and Ellora caves which always fascinated me since a long time. A bit wary initially about where to stay in Aurangabad, I came across Lemon Tree and decided to shortlist it based on online reviews. Some of my oservations:
[+] Cleanliness: Quite recently constructed, the property is quintessentially clean. I found my room quite clean, white bed linens, unspoilt towels and bath linens.
[+] Freshness: Whether it was the citrus color theme that the hotel has adapted, or the clean aura in the interiors - am still not sure. But the hotel has an aura of freshness as their slogan claims.
[+] Good Service: The reception desk was extremely friendly and courteous. All the queries were met with proper consideration. The room service folks were amiable and extended hospitality to the best extent.
[+] Responsibility: The senior staff of the hotel showed considerable responsibility in handling reservation affairs. There was some delay in the beginning regarding room reservations but then I always found the seniormost person in the hotel administration constantly following up with the person handling my reservation.

All in all, I found good value for money out there and would definitely consider staying in one of their properties next time.

Very Positive Experience at Lemon Tree Hotel

by TripAdvisor Member MoselPower

After trying several business hotels in Aurangabad over the last 18 months, Lemon Tree was a pleasant surprise and a great experience. The staff is enthusiastic and fun to interact with, and very helpful to a variety of needs. The rooms were well equipped with amenities, were clean, comfortable beds, and good A/C and ceiling fans. The business and conference rooms proved to be very helpful and the staff accommodated my needs without hesitation. The Wi-Fi was excellent, all over the hotel both inside and outside. The connection speed is probably the best I have experienced so far in Aurangabad. The restaurant is open at convenient hours and they have a wonderful variety to choose from, both buffet style or "a la carte." The lounge is one of the best I have seen, with an attentive staff and a room full of games and numerous flat screens with sports being displayed. The work out center overlooks a magnificent pool which I saw being maintained and cleaned daily.

Keep up the great work Lemon Tree, I'll be back!

Clean and great service

by TripAdvisor Member bench12345

Like almost everybody else going to Aurangabad, we were there to see the caves over a two day period. Most hotels we found on TripAdvisor were full or getting less than stellar reviews, but some relatives of ours in Mumbai managed to get us rooms here. We're glad they did!

The other reviews are spot-on. The Lemon Tree feels clean and refreshing, the restaurant is good (especially for breakfast), and the service is well above average. For instance, we left Aurangabad via a midnight train the same day we were going to be out all day seeing the Ellora caves, so we had to check out before we left for the caves, but it was rather unclear where we would spend the 4 hours between when we got back and when we left for the train. The hotel was nice enough to give us a couple rooms that evening, free of charge, so we could relax and clean up before we left. Now that is service!

Being Indian, it wasn't perfect - the exterior doors didn't seal well (it's hot, after all) so there were a few mosquitos in the rooms. And as another review put it, the decor (mostly a collection of every joke ever circulated on the Internet) is "charmingly inept." The taxis they provided to the caves weren't cheap, but they were comfortable, reliable, and efficient.

We were quite happy with the place, and on the off chance we ever make it back to Aurangabad, we'll be staying here again.

Good Value

I don't normally expect such an excellent Hotel to be a top deal at Expedia. We stayed there and it was really good. The staff were pleasant and attentive without being intrusive. Our room guy folded the towels into really witty and relevant shapes, and was a really nice guy. The food struck a near perfect balance between authenticity and acceptability for international travelers. The chef and his staff really cared and took a pride in their work, as did the rest of the team at the hotel,

The hotel is well located near shops and ATMs and it is convenient to pop out, cross the road and buy a cold beer or packaged drinking water without bothering the hotel staff. Its still cold when you walk back into your room. Whilst the local bars are a little sleazy, the hotel bar is a nice place to have a drink, as is ones balcony if you get the slightly more expensive room

The pool looked clean and was well maintained, to well above local standards. Although wifi internet access is a tad expensive its still cheaper than at hotels which use this facility as a revenue stream. There are also Internet cafe's nearby which tightwads like me might find useful.. The coffee at breakfast had some taste and if you like it a tad stronger you could combine a shot of espresso with the normal for those of use who don't like their coffee weak. All the usual little gripes one has with hotels were missing. Such a pleasant stay, except for one thing the auto drivers still used the hotels old name, but I expect by now they will have got used to the change. So either carry an address card or know the old name.

Totally recommend this hotel...

We decided on this hotel after a lot of research. And we are glad we did so. We stayed here with our children, and they had a great time too. This hotel is very clean, great food and wonderful staff. Wonderfully located, this hotel was walking distance from our place of work. The ambience is great, with lots of open spaces and fresh air. Our rooms were very clean. The best part of the rooms is that they are not carpeted, and hence they are able to keep this place very clean and fungus free. (this was important to us as we are prone to dust and carpet related allergies!)

They have a very beautiful pool, where we spent most of our leisure time. They also have a decent gym, which we used when we were guilty after over eating at their resturant. We also used the spa and had a relaxing body massage. and the cost seemed very reasonable!

Do get to know the staff well, especially the chef. They have some of the best food in town. The reception staff is very prompt and very helpful. This place is definitely value for money!
