VENKATESH guest house situated near mahalakshmi temple. Easily accesible and having good clean rooms as well as toilets. Because this guest house is near to the temple we can have good darshana of Goddess mahalakshmi as many times as we want.

hotel raysons regency: value for money
hotel raysons residency comes asa pleasant surprise for a mofussil town like kolhapur.although iam of the knowledge that there is a big demand for accomodation due to sugar industry and related industries i was expecting the usual syuff.
it has a pleasant ambience. the reception is simple yet efficient.the tariff is a steal.room service is a trifle slow.
rates are INR 1250 for a double ac room per day.
it has a few small restaurants The Cascade a multicuisine restaurant. Masala culture a indian cuisine restaurant.Meanwhile a coffee shop.Hangover bar.
the hotel has a beautiful glass elevator.the architecture is that of creation of open space and views. ventilation is good and spanking clean toilets.
raysons is a well constructed well conceptualised hotel. it has a few overhanging views where u can view the floor below.
good views of early morning kolhapur.
it is conveniently located from the railway station.kolhapur now has a air service from deccan air but i really do not know the details of the airports location.
apart from a good business hotel it does not have anything extraordinary but what else do you want? except for a good business hotel.
