Excellent!

Stayed here for a week during a work visit to India back in 2002:

Room - superb
Got upgraded into the royal club room (I think they wanted my company's business). Very large room around 450sqft, richly appointed, was in perfect condition as expected from a top tier Starwood property

Service - superb
Super helpful staff, was very patience with the hundreds of questions I had for them (it was my first time in India). I did not know until later that the royal club room also came with a butler - but since I was at work all day and only got home late at night I didn't really need that much of help.
Complimentary daily basket of fresh fruit is included in the royal club room.
Hotel also offers complimentary shuttle to and from the airport.

Location - good
It's close to the airport. Normally people from the office stay at the Taj Mahal hotel, which is South of the city, while the airport is North. It was good to see that traffic going South in the morning is light while the opposite is true. In the afternoon both lanes were always busy ... doesn't make sense but *shrugs*

Price - average
What I mean with 'average' here is not that the price is neither low nor high, but rather it gives an 'average' return of your money's worth (as opposed to 'bad' or 'good'). My hotel room was around $150/night

Overall - Very good
If I make it back to Mumbai this hotel will definitely be my first choice.

  • Opinion of Price: more expensive than average
