hotel "city palace" ... NOT!!
The hotel, 'City Palace,' was not a palace... and they shoved us in the non-air conditioned room, in which someone had been storing their stash. The smell of marijuana was unbelievable and so over-powering... I spent a good 1/2 hour ripping the place apart, convinced that it was still stashed in there, because the smell was so intense! I had visions of the Police turning up and myself and my fellow traveller being carted off to jail, wrongly accused of illegal possession.....
and the receptionist was a complete ***.
Unique Quality: over-priced... not very clean... unpleasant staff...
overall - one of the 'not-so-good' accomodations throughout india.
