From the moment we set foot in the Hotel Marine Plaza, we were treated like royalty. We received complimentary water, coffee and tea every single day. Cake and pastries were placed on our coffee table every day since we were there during the first week before christmas celebrations started. The rooms were first class - spanking clean - with beautiful views over the Arabian Sea and Peninsula in the South.
Unique Quality: The curries at breakfast were my absolute highlight!
Views from our room and breakfast room were outstanding.
My wife stayed a this hotel last month. Substantial amount of money was stolen from the locked safe. The hotel security claimed to have determined that an unauthorized entry was made into the room, but insisted that we make a police complaint, and have refused to make any restitution. Do not stay here. If you do stay at this or any other hotel in India, do not trust the safe, even electronically coded ones. When my wife returned in the evening, she could not open the safe with her own code! When the front desk staff was called, a low level hotel employee was able to open it with a master key.
Unique Quality: Unsafe property even in electronically locked safe, incompetent staff, typical overpriced Mumbai hotel for foreigners.
Unique Quality: Excellent, all you-can eat, breakfast, as well as extensive (finger sandwiches, candies, cookies, fruit, ...) teatime snacks, included in the room price. Very cordial and helpful personnel. Large window overlooking the Marine Drive. Three telephones, one in the bathroom. Good Internet connection in the business office.

You can stay at any one of the any hotels in Colaba for Rs2000-3000 per night with many facilities. There is Hotel Cowie where someone else on VT i met stayed for a few days, for Rs1500 I think. Or you can check Hotel Marine Plaza on Marine Drive which is also in South Bombay, its a 3 or 4 star hotel and should be around Rs4000 minimum per night.
Thank you very much for your kind add.
I will check incase of help, i will send youý email.
The best thing i would suggest you..book a hotel through www.cheapestdeals.com
I bet you would get what you want.
