Hotel close to Mumbai Airport
Hotel Midland is only 5 minutes drive from the domestic airport and a 10 minutes drive from the international airport
As we arrived after midnight and we did not want the hassle of finding a hotel late at night, I had made a reservation. My e-mail was answered promptly.
The room was booked in advance and the price was $92 (€74) including American breakfast and airport pick-up and drop-off. Slightly expensive, but I could not check because their website didn’t mention prices.
When we got to Mumbai we were met at the airport all right but when we arrived at the hotel we were told that they were fully booked, that some mistake had been made.
We paid the agreed price at Hotel Midland and were transferred to Hotel Airlines International. Later on I found out that this hotel charges $57 (€ 46) including American Breakfast and airport pick-ups and drop offs.
Someone became better of this deal. Guess who.
