In Juhu - Egnima at the Marriott or Rock Bottom at Ramee Guestline, which has just been renovated, so don't know how the new place is. Head 15 minutes south to Bandra and you'll fine plenty. Zenzi, Toto's Garage, H2O, Hawaiian Shack, etc. Depends on what kind of atmosphere you're looking for.

You can go to ON TOES, ENIGMA, ROCK BOTTOM which is at Juhu...It depends on your taste.....

There are also lots of places in Andheri West. Most of them are lounges and not clubs or discotheques. Go on Andheri Link road (Landmark: Near Fame adlabs theatre) and you will find plenty of grande 1 restauraants and bars.

Most of the pubs and clubs are located in Bandra which is known as queen of suburbs. You can try there. Donna has mentioned few of them so don't want to repeat it....

Travel Tips for Mumbai

Gateway of India

by husain

One of the citys landmarks. Behind the gateway, there are steps leading down to the water. You can take a ride on a motor launch, for a short cruise that takes you around the harbour- around the now decomissioned aircraft carrier INS Vikrant, or one that heads out to the 9th century Elephanta caves. The caves have been designated a `world heritage site'

My friends getting married

by jessicadf

On the fourth day of the wedding, the couple sat together under a tent of beautiful fabric. its poles garlanded with fresh flowers. The bride's sister sat next to her, the priest and the holy book in front of them. The guests sat on the floor behind the couple, talked and walked about freely. That people walked around and talked during the ceremony was a surprise to me. One of the cousins urged me to get up and walk to a spot to take this photo, assuring me that it was not rude, disrespectful, etc. She seemed to be right, as I got in no trouble at all for taking this photo.

It happened all the time that locals wanted to take our picture and sometimes they wanted to be in it as well. Don't feel strange about this. Look at it as a fun thing and take a picture of them as well it is nice memories when you come home.

Cricket at Mumbai University

by atufft

There are playing fields at Mumbai University where kites are flown and cricket is played. As an American, I find cricket to be an odd sport distantly related to baseball, except that the pitch bounces and there appear to be two home plates. I do know that the Indians are crazy about this sport which also resembles American baseball in that games are long enough to require food and drink for both players and spectators. At Mumbai University students play cricket with the colonial style university buildings looming in the background.

Theatre

by wrldtravler

Visit Prithvi Theatre In Juhu. This is the nesting ground for India's Future Performing Arts Talents. They have plays and festivals throughout the year and their Cafe serves some very delicious treats.
Started by India's First Family of Movies and Theatre (the Kapoor Clan) it has remained an avant-grade bastion for theatre in a Cinemascope Crazy Country.
