A Dump But Budget Options are Few
Mumbai is an expensive city. Our room here was expensive for Indian standards and was really not that nice. It was very damp and hot with bad ventilation in the hallway.

Cheap with View
One of three hotels in the Kamal Mansion building at the begining of Arthur Bunder Road. Stayed here for about a week and it is fine if you are looking for a cheap (pretty clean) room.
Unique Quality: Rooms have television and 1/2 have views of the bay. Toilet and sink down the hall. Daily laundry service available.
Double: around 500 Rupees
Single: double for singe use 400 to 500
Single: (very small) 350 to 400
