The guy put who has been uploading the view from his room was either drunk or biased. Both the pictures and the descriptions is about J.W. Marriot hotel, which is in quite another leage than Sea Princess. The Sea Princess has a decent location, but the hotel itself is just about worth the money.
On the room front, the hotel feels very home like. The beds are extra comfy and the desk is very useable. Most all rooms have a view of the sea or the pool/sea – so inspiration is just outside the window. The hotel works like clockwork and the staff starts learning your preferences after the first few days.
The hotel property is incredible with everything from grand fire torches to an incredible pool with a view of the Arabian sea. Its location on Juhu Beach makes it the hip hangout for the Bollywood crowd. The hotel’s club, Enigma, is one of the hottest clubs in all of Mumbai.
The hotel is quite nice. As you enter each car is checked for explosives. You are greeted by a beautiful lobby. Rooms are great with an all marble bathroom. There are 4 sit down resturaunts. An Italian, Chinese, Indian, Lotus that has everything and the Bombay Baking Company. High speed internet in the room is around $10 USD per day. The food prices in the hotel are not reflective of prices in Mumbai. The staff is very friendly and attentive. You will recieve bottled water daily since the water in India is not potable.
There are also 3 bars in the hotel. Enigma which is the hottest Disco in Mumbai, the Club Lounge has a live band, and the other I don't remember the name but is very small and had nothing special.
The hotel has 3 pools. A kids pool, a regular pool (very nice), and a salt water pool. There is access to Juhu Beach and the Arabian Sea. Unless you can ignore the begging I don't recommend going on the beach. We went out for a walk on the beach one morning and was treated to a youngster and his pet monkey. The kid tried to get me to give him Rs 100 to watch. I ended up giving him Rs 20.
The workout area is great. Lots of equipment and helpful staff. You can get a haircut if needed while in Mumbai. The prices is about Rs 500.
The view from my room was wonderful. I had a view of the pool, lotus pond, and Arabian Sea.
