Hi all,
I am planning to visit Pune in the first week of Dec'06.I wish to go to Shirdi from Pune.Is there a safe and reliable Taxi or tourist car operator that has A/C taxis or tourist cabs in Pune that does these trips?
I will appreciate very much for an early and good response with the details of the tour operator viz: the telephone number, email etc of the operator.
Are there any A/C coaches(bus)that operate from Pune to Shirdi?

Can also rail it to Ahmednagar and then take a cab. There are also tour companies that do this. Check out MTDC. The road used to be pretty tough. I drove it dozens of times. Hopefully, it is improved now..
Also, contemporary usage is Pune and those Chitpavan Brahmins there won't let you forget it..
My suggestion would be to take direct Asiad or Volvo bus from Swargate or other Pune bus station. Check for private bus operators as well, they may have one plying on this route.
