I visited Pune for a business conference and stayed in a hotel named 'Hotel Kapila' its a good business hotel in Pune, near Railway Station and Airport. Comfortable Rooms, nice service and good food.
Near Pune Railway Station, Good Food, Nice Rooms, Excellent service
Very friendly staff. Rooms are nice and clean. Interesting lobby... very spacy feeling thanks to the mirror tricks.
The airco is set on "antartic".
Not so cheap.
internet in the room (bit expensive),nice spacy shower, minibar, laundry service, HBO,ESPN,movie channels....
Noisy! Specially when you have neighbours ...
You always have to take the elevator. This takes patience somethimes. The stairs are going through the kitchen, so it's not allowed unless there is a fire.
Oh! my God. We just got ripped of $1000 here. They claim that they are 4 start hotel. Listed in every damn directory and Tourism Board catalog as 4 star. We went there it was a shady overrated place and we wanted to get out right away.
First of all they took money in advance of all the six nights which they should not do. I talked to the person at front desk and he said they are 4 star. I was surprised. They took us to the room and I knew right away that they are lying. I complained at the front desk and they sent the manager and I asked him to show me the Tourism Board certificate for 4 star rating he declined right on my face and said that they are no star and don't pay any taxes for 4 star..
We told them we want to leave and left. We asked for money back.. if not for all six night but for the rest of the 5 nights we did not stay.. since we gave them more than 24 hr notice. They are blaming our agent and using bad language. They are big - 2 cheaters and have basically eaten up our money.
They are listed as 4 star in every directory and internet site but are not more than a motel facility. It is a bad experience for us.. basically coming to India and Pune had been a big disappointment... People like them lie right on their face.
I think manager name is Mr Bhihari..
So people beware of this 4 star rating hotel it is actually not
People lie there
Cheat right on your face
Dirty bathrooms with broken bath tubs
Dusty bed linens and unfriendly staff
This lush contemporary 40-acre campus is a tropical oasis where nature and the 21st Century blend seamlessly, both within and without. With its white marble pathways, elegant black buildings, abundant foliage and Olympic-sized swimming pool, it is the perfect setting to take time out for yourself.
This is a place where you can simply relax and where you can also enjoy the company of visitors of all ages from over 100 countries. You can choose if you want to do something, or if you just want to rest, swim, meditate — or just to be.
You can learn simple Osho Active Meditations, techniques specifically designed for the contemporary over-charged mind and stress-impacted body.
You may like to nourish your body-mind-soul with a stunning selection of individual sessions, like bodywork and massage, and longer workshops and courses — all designed to help you become more aware of yourself.
Or perhaps experiment by learning new life skills and acquiring tools to take home, that will help you remain relaxed even in the busiest of workaday environments.
The key to relaxation is awareness, being a keen observer of all that is going on both inside and around us — this is the inner science, often also called meditation.
And while we each walk this walk alone, it is more supportive and more fun to share the process with others, whether during the various daytime activities, or in the evening — trying out a new meditation technique, or enjoying an evening a party, dancing, or the plaza café, watching or participating in live theater events or just going to the movies.
Above all this is a unique environment created through the awareness, humor, and celebration that each of us brings to the table.
The OSHO Guesthouse is located within the OSHO Commune, next to the main auditorium and the Meera Buffet, making it very convenient for morning dynamic meditation as well as the evening meeting of the White Robe Brotherhood. It's very clean, if rather spartan. No TV or radio. The bathrooms are ensuite, with walk-in showers. Excellent maid service and laundry service. All rooms are air-conditioned with purified air. The guesthouse brochure trumpets that "the 60 room guesthouse would put most five star hotels to shame." I certainly wouldn't go that far, but it was a very good sleep.
I stayed there for two days only but I realised that I was like in an heaven.
This is Five Star hotel having nice rooms, swimming pool, gallery and restaurant.
Yes those who want to go in Pune and want to live in cool atmosphere then they should go to this hotel
I liked swimming pool very much and one antique shop near the receiption counter
I stayed here in APRIL 2004, I want to give credit to the listing on India Mike.com for the description and location as my journal skills during that period in Pune were pretty bad!

It's an "privat" area in Pune, Koregon Park. There are 25 Rooms/Appartmentson the ground. Each have their own owner and if the owner is not a home they provide the rooms for rent. Most of the owners are Sanyassins, it's not nessasary to be one, but it's not a party place. But if you're looking for an nice place in Pune, in Koregon Park, in the nature, than this is the one.
Address: Pune, Koregon Park, North main Road, after last bridge right,
Directions: Koregon Park, North main Road, after last bridge right,
Price: Prices are between 6000 - 12000 a month (HS)
and around 4000 - 10000 (LS)
Likes/Dislikes: Quite, in a huge garden like area, nothin I dislike, a bit outside, so either you rent a scooter, a Bikecycle or you have to go daily by Rick...
Osho Guesthouse is a beautiful starting place for visitors to the Resort.
The tastefully modern, silent rooms all have air conditioning and attached bathrooms. As they are almost on top of the auditorium, it makes Dynamic Meditation at 6 am in the morning very hard to resist!
For our very elaborate tent we paid Rs200 per night (ie £3.00)
It's really cheap. They have different types of rooms available. Some with bathrooms, others have to use shared bathrooms (which are clean and not far from the room)...and then...where we stayed - in a tent. They have huge tents set up with 2 beds, a light and a fan. It's may sound weird, but it's really good!
GRAND HOTEL (Poona)
This old colonial house has a charming relaxing garden restaurant and cheap rooms, though a bit humid and in a bad conservation state. I used my sleeping sheet-bag when I was there...
