900 year old fort built in the middle of the sea..
breathtakin experience.. how did they manage to build something which housed 3000 people and a whole kingdom.. chaps were living there as recent as 1984..
"25 ton cannon"
an enthusiastic guide( who btw was born in the fort) told me that this cannon was built within the fort as no boat could carry a 25 ton load 500 odd years ago.
it had a range of 15 kms which i am very sceptical about indeed..
"fresh water pond"
there is a fresh water pond inside the fort..how the waters gets there is stil a mystery to me..
if u remember its in the middle of the damn sea
"view from top"
this is what it looks like from the top most point of the fort..
