Best Hotel in Amritsar
We had a fantastic stay in March, 2010 in this lovely Hotel very close to Golden Temple. The food & service was quiet good at this hotel especially the morning breakfast paranthas. The hotel is just across the street to Lovely Golden temple. Our room was very nicely done with poh interiors of some sikh heritage art. Rooms were quiet spacious & clean. Bathrooms were having hot water.
One must sya in this hotel near Golden temple.
Unique Quality: Very close to Golden temple
You get easy taxis from front desk to visit wagah border - change of guards.

Next to the Holy Temple
This hotel is situated opposite the Golden Temple. While this is obviously a great selling point everything else about the place is standard. There are not many frills.
The room I stayed in was fairly clean, it had hot water, although was quite noisy. The electirics appeared to conform to "Indian Standards".
The food was plain and edible.
Unique Quality: A fantastic location opposite the Golden Temple in the heart of old Amritsar.
