Hotel Grand Legacy

I had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. It is really close to Amritsar railway station which is always a bonus. It is very 5* despite it being rated as 3- the decor and interiors are great, very modern and nice and clean and comfortable. Each room (we stayed in a double) has a lovely large double bed, pleather sofa and footrest, table with chair, two wardrobes, tv...Dont expect a spectacular view though as it looks onto another building (the side that we stayed on at least). The only thing I can advise against is that the hotels own taxi's are pretty expensive. We took one to the golden temple at night and it cost 600 INR for the return.
The restaurant is also very good, may I recommend the Lahsuni Tikka-chicken- to start and for main course have peeli (yellow) daal and the Lababdar chicken dish. The legacy special mutton dish was just average.
