Bhairon Niwas, Bikaner: Funkiest place in Bikaner
200yr old residence of the former King's Prime Minister now running as a hotel for the last 12yrs, has been rightly described in the Lonely Planet Guide as the funkiest place in Bikaner. Has an excellent aura around it. Rooms vary in size and quality though, so look around first. We stayed in Room No 120 which is on the 3rd floor, had 6 windows and plenty of warm winter sunshine.
The only slightly bad point though was the sluggish service, which is probably to be expected from a family run place.

Not to be confused with Bhanwar Niwas Hotel, which is a totally different place.

Evergreen or Deluxe Hotel
It is not really "deluxe" but more a cheap place to stay. We payed 150 Rupees for a double....and wow, we had a tv :-)

Beautiful City View from Balcony. Volunteer Opportunity...Highly Recommended.
Unique Quality: I liked the hospitality and the kindness of the owners. Not just professional hospitality, but really interested. Beautiful City View from Balcony. Dance space available.
