SAGAR- A DESERT OASIS
We had a wonderful stay at Sagar.The large, atmospheric rooms were clean, comfortable and furnished with antiques. Every little detail- from the wallpaper to the large writing desk and the marvellous antique bedside telephone was chosen with great care. The bathroom was good, without the usual hot water problem that is frequently encountered in India.
There are two ways of dining- an inner courtyard, and a grand dining room.We preferred the candle-lit courtyard, where they have musicians to entertain every evening.
The food was NOT the best- but it was totally adequate. Vegetarian meals were available.
Service was friendly and helpful.
Ii would highly recommend this hotel- it is reasonably priced, and very good value for money
