Jaipur's Best

Beautiful 180yr old haveli which is now run as a well managed professional hotel, with the earstwhile royal family taking keen interest in the day to day running of the hotel. Rooms are great and have a nostalgic tings. Bathrooms are nice and clean. There is a big garden, in which peacocks and other animals roam freely even as you eat your food. Helpful staff. The biggest point is that it is right in the center of Jaipur, within 10mins walking distance of the Pink City.

Stylish budget place

Very pleasant hotel in a beautiful little palace.
The rooms are quite basic and slightly overpriced (425 Rs. a double), but great ambience has its price.

Unique Quality: Very good restaurant and a nice, green lawn to relax.

More about Diggi Palace

Hotel Diggi Palace, Jaipur,...

by Shelleya

Hotel Diggi Palace, Jaipur, Rajasthan
approx 100 Indian rupees for basic room. Clean, austere lodging for the price of 100 Rs. per night, approximately $2.50 USD. Shared (private) bathroom/shower, cold water, but no problem during the warmer season (Mar.-Nov.), within 20 minutes walking distance of Pink City. Quick access to rickshaws. Large, pleasant grounds for enjoying peace away from the city.

Anywhere from 100rps share shower - toilet to 250rps with shower and then some for the more luxuries you want. It's actually a small palace.
Great restaurant area and the food is very good.
Large grounds surrounding the hotel

Consider also Madhuban, a former noble's mansion located in a nice area not too far from the central ("red") city.

HI kaps,

Apart from the places to stay listed by you, I would suggest if you try exploring Hotel Arya Niwas which is centrally located and travellers favourite location. Another option could be Alsisar Haveli. Train station and bus stand are at a distance of less than 1 1/2 kms. Airport is approximately 7kms. More importantly shopping options available are quite close to these places.

Regards, Vishwajit

Hi there,

Try this place: http://www.indiatravelite.com/accommodations1/mandawahavelihoteljaipur.htm

I lived here a couple of years ago. It actually is a HAVELI which is a mansion owned by the Royal Family of Mandawa. Not too expensive and amazing!

Cheers
