Stayed for four days at Hotel Arya Niwas. This is not a fancy hotel. Very clean rooms/bath rooms. Has a good lawn for dining and walking. You can not walk outside the hotel, since the areas are not clean. You can definitely stay in this hotel but take a rickshaw or hotel operated taxis for moving out of this location. Hotel staff are cordial. Mostly foreigners select this hotel for cleanliness. Even the restaurant is tuned for foreign visitors. Hotel staff are most cordial.
Offers AC ambassador cars (for Rs. 150/hr) on hourly basis. Tariff is around Rs. 1800-Rs.2,500. Highly recommended for stay.

We stayed in Arya niwas for 3 days. it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Rooms were amazingly clean. Restaurant menu was just awsome. Only thing is, their restaurant is self-service one. They have small garden and sitting area, small library. The hotel is aesthetically decorated. We will stay there again. I strongly recommend this hotel.

we recently returned from a 4 week trip to India. This was one of the least expensive hotels on our trip and our favorite. Not luxurious but set up well and run well. Service was great!
