Trident lives upto its standards of its 5 star hotels and staying in this hotel is not very different from staying in other trident hotels. the good things about this hotel were, the location, facing the jal mahal in jaipur provides a picturesque view from the rooms and its away from the hustle and bustle of the main city of jaipur in close proximity to the Amber fort. food and service were ok and nothing special. overall its was a nice experience.
Unique Quality: You can say the only unique thing about the hotel from other Trident hotels was the Rajasthani External Elevation which gave it a touch of Rajasthani Architecture. Nothing unique otherwise.

The hotel has a swimming pool, conference facilities, tour desk, bar, lounge and restaurant which has a choice of ala carte or a very nice buffet breakfast. The food is good as is the service. There is also a kids club for those travelling with children. If not, then I would recommend you request a room away from this area.

The Trident Hotel has 138 rooms, nicely decorated and very comfortable. Each room has their own balcony which either overlooks the gardens and Aravalli Mountains or Man Sagar Lake. Every room has a safe, satellite/cable t.v., direct dial phone, tea/coffee making facilities and a mini bar.

The Trident is an attractive 3 star hotel, pink in colour so as to keep the tradition of the city. It is located on the road to Amber Fort and also sits across crom Lake Man Sagar Lake with a view to the Aravalli Mountains behind.

Five-star hotel with all amenities: outdoor pool, restaurant, concierge, in-room mini bar, internet access (business center), laundry facilities, 24-hour room service, and small gift shop. Hotel staff is friendly and knowledgeable and speaks English.
Unique Quality: Very close to Amber Fort. Private parties are available, we rented the pool area for a night for a pre-wedding celebration, including catering, an open bar, and a dance floor. Also ask for the Rajasthani puppet master to do a marionette show.

We enjoyed our stay here, the rooms are very comfortable and the hotel is clean, quiet and very well decorated
there is a smart bar and a large restraunt serving excellent food, the room service menu is very good too
Unique Quality: there is a large swimming pool with sun loungers and hillside views
the views from the front facing rooms [ as ours was ] are over the lake and the Jai Mahal, paticularly lovely at dawn and sunset

We stayed at the Trident Hilton Jaipur for 2 nights in a deluxe lakeview room. The room was excellent and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast that came with the room was above average in quality and quantity of choices . The hotel has a beautiful swimming pool. The only complaint I had with the hotel is that the fitness center was small and sub-standard.
We stayed here booked under Hilton Holidays, which worked to Rs. 11500 for 2 nights inclusive of breakfast and taxes. The regular room rates are around 9000 per night + taxes which is pretty steep for this type of hotel. The hotel has everything that you would expect from a 4 star hotel but has scope for improvement in certain areas.
The rooms are well kept and clean, and have all the required ammenities, but are extremely small in size. The house keepnig staff have to be complimented, as they did a wonderful job throughout our 4 nights stay at the hotel.
The hotel is located on the outskirts of the Pink City, but the best part of it is that its exactly in the middle of all the places you would want to visit in Jaipur. The Amber palace, Jaigadh and Nahargadh all are close by and the main city attractions are not far away either.
Only complaint was the buffet. Though some of the dishes were nice, most of the Indian food at the buffet was very bland and tasteless. The hotel had mostly non-Indian guests and the buffet was obviously catered especially for them. The deserts were nice though. Same thing about the buffet breakfast, was really not great and the Indian items at the breakfast were aweful. Also except for one or two waiters the staff should pay more attention towards the needs of the guests.
I would probably stay here again, but only if I get a similar rate, the normal rates of this place are way too much on the higher side.
We stayed at the Jaipur Trident Hilton in Dec 2006. Overall we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel - clean rooms, very nice lobby, good breakfast. The staff was very courteous and pleasant. The only minor inconvenience I had with this stay was the fact that when I booked the hotel through the HiltonHonors membership, I was told I needed 2 rooms because we were four people. Upon reaching Jaipur, when we questioned this, the hotel management agreed and let us stay in one room with an extra bed. We did get complimentary breakfast and received an upgrade because of my membership which was nice. Thanks Hilton for giving us a good taste of Jaipur hospitality.
