Pleasant, large rooms.......and very atmospheric. We were given a room that had been the private chambers of the present owners great grandmother. The hotel has been modernised, with good large bathrooms, and marble floors. Accomodation included breakfast, which was served in a sunny dining room. And the food was good, if somewhat plain. The manager was very helpful, enquiring whether we needed any help or advice. The only downside of our stay was that the doorways are very low, and my husband, being very tall, nearly concussed himself twice, getting up at night, and bumping his head. Even after my warnings!!! The hotel is situated right next to Gandhi Chowk, and is a 5 minute walk from the fort. We also enjoyed sitting on the roof , the views of the fort are magnificent. I would definitaly stay there again. The Royal Family of Jaisalmer are in residenceat this Palace
