Suryagarh

This is easily the best hotel to stay at Jaisalmer. It is not too costly. And it's relatively new too. The hotel has been built to look like a fort. It's about 12 km from the town. From the point you enter the hotel, till you leave you will feel like royalty. The staff is extremely courteous and leave no stone unturned to make you feel comfortable. The rooms are beautiful. We stayed in the suite which was stunning, and the bath tub was filled with nice warm water and rose petals for us even before we arrived. The breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet is amazing. Desserts are to die for. But the ala carte restaurant is extremely (EXTREMELY) costly. So it's better to take the plan which includes breakfast and dinner. You can have lunch somewhere else while roaming around during the day. The game room and gym is well maintained as is the swimming pool.

It's the best hotel there. No doubts about it.
