Mirrors and Coloured Glass
by keeweechic
The stained glass windows are vivid in colour and when the sunlight shines from behind, it can create a beautiful multi-coloured effect in the rooms. The mirror work includes large and regular pieces as well as tiny intricate mosaic fragments. More often than not, these rooms were used more like a private pleasure palace.
