Yummy food
India is a vast country in landscape and a rich country in its traditions, languages, and culture. I don't know what tickles your fantasy, but the Shilon Resort and King's Palace in SIMLA were impeccable. The King's Palace was built during Maharaja Ranjit Singh's Rule and it is deliciously designed. The ride up the mountain is bumpy and very adventurous around mountain bends. I had a 6-star experience for reasonable prices that I could afford on a student budget! (food was served in a warmed plate, servers were formally dressed and very pleasant) Papar (crispy thin spiced appetizers)
Palik Paneer with Raita (Palik is Spinach, Paneer is cubes of processed milk, like cheese, and Raita is yoghurt with spices)
Channe with Puri (Channe are curry-flavoured fried beans, Puri is a sort of deep-fried bread)
Malai Kulfi (a sort of herb and almond milk flavoured ice-cream)
Gulab Jamun for dessert (light brown coloured balls made of flour, served in syrup)
Lasee (a yoghurt-based summer drink , you can choose to have it sweet or salty)
