Keep away from shimla youth hostel

The warden of Shimla Youth Hostel is a cheater.
Whenever you will try to book economy rooms (costing Rs 300 per day) he will reject the booking stating that there are no rooms available. However he will give you the same rooms at higher prices as deluxe and super deluce rooms.
Do not use their services to book any taxi or tours. They include their hefty commission and will fleece you.
There are many adverse remarks about this hostel, hence, try to keep away from this hostel.
Lot of cheaper alternatives are available in Shimla and in better locations also, so go for those instead of blocking your money on this Shimla Youth Hostel and then repenting.
have you ever heard a youth hostel in India having a bar.....this one has one.
