Nice restaurant and decent rooms
The Kumbha palace was recommended to me by a fellow traveller while I was in Jaipur and they told me it was cheap, clean with a great restaurant but more importantly a fantastic location. After staying for 3 nights, I can confirm that the above is true and the staff is exceptional. They were really helpful and they were full of advice. There are so many places in Udaipur and most travellers stay in the heart near the lake but this hostel away from the main road is brilliant. The rooms are huge and clean and quiet which is important in India ;) Great spot.
