Chennai Beach by Canadienne
Chennai Beach (or Marina Beach) is one of India's longest, running along 13km the city's coastline. It's a decent route to walk from the War Memorial to the San Thome church (very nice!). Move a couple of blocks inland from there and you'll find yourself at the Kapaleeswarar Temple, which I highly recommend visiting. The beach is often crowded and very littered though. . .
