A satisfactory solution
Good value. Rooms are clean, A/C is centrally operated and working well, checkout is 24 hours, deluxe double room (only for 1400.- Rs/night incl. taxes) is equipped with clean and large bathroom, satellite TV, minibar. The room had a balcony overlooking the temple complex. Room service is available and there's an A/C restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and also a rooftop restaurant and bar open from 5 in the afternoon till 11 in the evening. Beer costs the usual hotel price (Rs. 100.-). Since the hotel building is the tallest building in the city (7 floors), you can see the main sight, Sri Meenakshi temple complex while having dinner there.
Hotel staff is ready to mail your postcards, you only have to pay the 8.- Rs for the stamps, no extra costs and they are reliable.
