Nice option
This hotel is located opposite the Hotel Chentoor, close to the train station and about 500 metres west of the Sri Meenakshi Sundareshvara Temple. My non a/c room was nice and clean with nice modern furniture and cost Rs515 back in February 2007. I had a double bed, 2 bedside tables, desk, stall, large mirror, large TV, wardrobe, table, armchair, phone and some nice touches like a sewing kit, comb, soap, toilet roll etc which push it into the mid-range kind of hotels. I also had a nice hot water shower. The hotel does an OK US style breakfast for Rs70 in one of its two restaurants.
