Hi,
Does anyone have ides about how much taxi's cost to visit fatehpur,agra fort and taj in a day...pick up/drop railway station.

Hi,
I give you the specific answer and you can calculate the approximate cost -
Railway station to Taj Mahal: 5 km approx
Taj Mahal to Agra Fort: 5 km approx
Agra Fort to Fatehpur Sikri: 40 km approx
Sikri to Railway station: 40 km approx
The car should not run more than 100 kms, the cost of an Indica car is @ Rs.6 per kilometer + parking, toll, taxes etc...
The cost should be approximately Rs.800 including everything.

You will easily get a taxi from outside the Agra Cantt railway stations for nearly Rs. 800 to Rs. 1000 for a day.

- Auto-rickshaws (plenty of them around picking up passengers).
- Cars and taxis (mostly small cars which are very popular in India)
- Motorcycles and bicycles (these are everywhere)
- Colourful trucks (the trucks in India are full of colours and designs)
- Cows (yes, you will see cows wandering on the road)

If your time in India is limited, you can always do a day trip from Delhi. You can actually see quite a bit in a day from the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, of Itmad – ud and also visit Fatehpur Sikri on the way back to Delhi.
