Get in quick and leave slow
by GenuinelyCurious
I thought the Taj was going to be a disappointment. It has so much hype associated with it.
But when I got there, I was stunned by both the beauty and the intricacy of the place as well as its size and scope.
The one thing I'd definitely suggest is an early start. You've GOT to beat the crowds and get in there quick and leave slow...
Agra ~ The Taj Mahal and More
by Canadienne
A combined ticket gets you entrance to both the Taj Mahal and the Agra Fort ~ it's a tough fit to manage both in one day, but it's also a shame to move on with only a visit to the Taj Mahal.
The city itself can be a tough one ~ a preponderance of touts, beggars and tricksters ~ but the rewards are high. A rooftop patio with a good curry and a cold beer wash away any of the day's frustrations. What will be left lingering is a sense of wonder and admiration.
Somebody's kid

Somebody's kid is taken on tuk-tuk, I can't say anything in just a mere photo but whenever I saw something interesting I will snap immediately, that's the advantage of digital cameras. You can see a small kid is getting something from the young man, and the place is a restaurant.
Roadside Barber

Roadside Barber is one of my favourite collection of Agra photos. I especially like the background and you can't see other things around it, just the focus point in the centre, really its my favourite.
Damoth
by TomorrowsAngel
Damoth is made from lentils (a type of legume) and fried in little tiny bits. Traditionally from Agra, it is eaten in combination with peitha (sweet pumpkin mentioned in previous tip). You have a wee nibble of peitha with a small handful of dalmont.
Damoth comes in many different types - mixed with split lentils, mild, spicy...
