Hotel Great Value Dehradun: Great Business Hotel
This is really a small and nice business property right in the heart of Dehradun, bang on Rajpur Road.
They usually have Ghazals ( light Indian music ) daily except Tuesday and one can enjoy succulent kebabs both veg and non veg.
Nice for a business trip.

Hotel Madhuban: The "best" hotel in town
And what a noisy town this is! The horns never stop honking. But the rooms are comfortable. The showers are nice. And the restaurant was quite good. Breakfast buffet was excellent and the bar was helpful in providing good snacks which sufficed for our dinner two nights.

Hotel Viceroy Inn: Nice Hotel to stay in Dehradun
Hotel Viceroy Inn is a nice hotel to stay in Dehradun. Provide comfortable accommodation with modern amenities at affordable cost. I often come to dehradun on my business trip and this time i choose this hotel as it is near to the ISBT so better for me to stay here. Single room available here on cost of Rs.1500 per night. Room equipped with all the facilities like color tv, mini bar :), wi-fi internet etc and very well decorated. Restaurant of this hotel is also very good which serves varieties of food. Room services are remarkable. In whole this hotel is perfect to stay if somebody looking for luxury accommodation but under budget.
Unique Quality: Uninterrupted Mussoorie Hill view from the room, Doctor on call, wi-fi internet access, mini refrigerator in room, color tv, telephone facility with STD and ISD in every room, Gym, Men's Parlour, Ample of parking space.

Hotel Shiva Palace: Actually I had a bad time with this one
I stayed at 'Hotel Shiva Palace' (Rs.250/- per night pp)..Beware of the promised facilities before you check-in and do not pay your money already before checking the room thoroughly (Toilet, Flush, Broken windows,..) . The Western toilet of the room was leaking. Also boot marks on the seat?!. When reported, they least bothered to repair/clean the seat or even to change my room. And bluntly the manager said, they were not going to return my money.. Alas! It was only fifteen minutes after check in and still was only humiliated with words; 'Go to Dharmasala -aka- charity organisations' if you do not have any more money left on you.
Unique Quality: You have a 'Jain Dharmasala' just opposite the hotel (Raja Road, Dehra Dun). I checked it just for the sake of it. The quote was Rs.75/- for a double bed, ensuite, similar room I had at the hotel above but no TV (well, I did not need it either). Unfortunate, for me, I could not get the money refund from the 'Shiva Palace' authorities. Ofcourse, being a charity organisation the room did not have tiles or kind of look of a hotel but still ok for a nights sleep.
