Warm welcome and brilliant stay
My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and had a brilliant time The staff and our host just couldn't do enough for us. The room was all wood and very clean and modern.The communal sitting room was heated by a central stove which was HOT HOT. Excellent for warming the cold bones! The view from the hotel is stunning as long as the clouds keep their distance. All in all a splendid place to stay.
TIP 1) the boys will carry your luggage up the 70 odd steps!
and TIP 2) for true Tibetan comfort food try The KUNGA restaurant just below the hotel

Excellent View + Clean + Comfortable
This Tibetan style hotel is simply LOVELY! We stayed 4 nights here. The double room we stayed was only 550RP per night. The room was SPORTLESS, with great view. We can spot the Himalaya peaks when the sky is clear. The common rooms (sitting room & dinning room) were always empty, it's like our own sitting room. Book shelf was filled with good books which we can read for free.
