Ganga Awas/ Ganga Kutir at Raichak: Bungalows on rent.

With the emergence of Ffort Radission at Raichak many new guest houses have also come up on the river bank. they cater mostly to people of Kolkata, who use this place just to laze around by the Ganges. They also offer food of your choice and less expensive than the Star hotel. You are sure to find accomodation there as it remains vaccant most of the time except some of the weekend.

After I put this tip on VT, many people have wrote to me seeking, how to get in touch with them for booking. Here, now I have provided all the address and information required. This property is owned by Ambuja Realty, who are one of the largest builders of the country and are famous for quality homes.

Ffort Radission: Diamond Harbour's Best Hotel

Since the emergence of Haldia Petro Chemical project on the other side of the river the requirement of better hotels have become necessary. The Ffort Radission, was built this ( Kolkata) side to cater as base for Haldia traveller and also to the rich and famous of Kolkata who come here as weekend gateway. This hotel is a Five star hotel built by Ambuja group of Kolkata. This hotel offers everything you expect from a five star hotel besides their own boating facility, breath taking view of the Ganges, sprawling lawn, their own garden and so on. They also offer package for the honeymooners.
