Some feel for Indian accomodation
Room rates in India are relatively expensive compared to other countries. So expect to pay more for what you are used to. The HHI offers a nice, cozy room if Kolkata is your first destination in India and you want a good night sleep in what would be a long journey around the subcontinent. A trip around Kolkata shouldn't take more than a day so you'll most probably spent at most 2 nights here. Its restaurant has a good mixture of western breakfast dishes and Indian food for the more adventurous. Not far from the hotel is a supermarket where you can buy drinking water and other snacks.

Luxury accommodation at reasonable price

The hotel also provides you with banquet facilities and a conference hall.
The location of The HHI is one of the best. It is situated in the heart of South Calcutta near Minto Park, and is surrounded by huge shopping centres, malls and business offices.
