Pinjore Gardens

Pinjore Gardens are one of the oldest Gardens in Northern India. The Gardens are laid out on seven terraces. The main entrance opens to the highest terrace and from there you can descend to the other levels. Located on the various levels are water fountains and flower gardens. There is even a snack/coffee shop nicely situated near the fountains on the second terrace.

Chandigarh, the City Beautiful, is the capital of two states: Punjab and Haryana. However, administratively, the city is not under the jurisdiction of either state. The city derives its name from Chandi Mandir, a temple of goddess Chandi, located in nearby Panchkula District of Haryana. The word Chandigarh literally means "the fort of Chandi".

Chandigarh has two sister cities, Panchkula and Mohali. Sometimes, the triangle of these three cities is collectively called as the Chandigarh Tricity.

Well Khaleel is extremely talented artist, his works are opulent canvases of trees, craggy rocks, flowing waters against a panoramic view of vividly hued skies, etched in refined detail displaying remarkable depth and clarity. Government Museum & Art Gallery

Opened in 1968, this museum and art gallery is located next door to the City Museum in sector 10. It houses magnificent Gandhara period stone sculptures, prehistoric fossils and artifacts, Hindu statues, cloth and miniature paintings, decorative arts, coins and modern art.
