Noisy

I stayed in this hotel for a total of 6 nights and every one of those nights was noisy with loud Indians talking in the corridor or watching Bollywood movies on TV’s loudly till the early hours. Earplugs are essential. This really was my only gripe with the place as the room was OK. The bathroom had a western WC; sink and showerhead on the wall and 2 taps underneath - kinda like a wet room. The room itself had a large double bed that was wider than it was long, a small table, fold-up chair, small sofa and a cabinet. It was better than some I looked at such as the Anoop but do be warned that this is not on the Main Bazaar but on a road that runs off it called Rajguru Rd and so you don’t get to meet other backpackers. There is a small restaurant on top but I didn’t eat there as it looked a bit dirty and no one else was there. Room was Rs300/night.

A: "I would not recommend to stay in Old Delhi. It's very noisy and not very clean, also not many hotels to choose from. You can get to Chandni Chowk easily on the Metro..."
