Delhi has a recorded population of around 15.3 million people. The city is the 6th most populous metropolis in the world and India’s 6th largest. That is easy to believe even on a normal day in Delhi.
This marble domed mausoleum is the last famous Mughal monument built in Delhi in 1753-54, by the son of the second Nawab of Awadh Shuja-ud-Daulah. It is a son's tribute to his father, the Wazir of Mughal Emperor Muhammad Shah (1719-48).
The Tomb set in the middle of a green and well-laid lawn.Safdarjang's Tomb is constructed with buff colored sandstone sprinkled with red sandstone and white marble.
The central structure of Safdarjang's Tomb, has four two-storied minarets and a central bulbous dome made of pure white marble. Apart from the tomb, there are other structures like the Zenana quarters, a market area and a guesthouse that clearly indicate that this place was inhabited. The tomb also has a beautiful mosque estern side near the main gate.
Well the best spots really are the ones where most friends are. So make VT friends (from delhi) before you get here and let them take you places!!!
Like this specimen here! comfortable, clean, presentable clothes. though the trendy places will have very haute clothing!
I feel for the cycle rickshaw drivers, breathing hard when pollution in Delhi is at its worst. These guys, poorly paid….I have the biggest admiration for. They are a convenient and inexpensive mode of short distance travel in Delhi. They will take up to 2 people comfortably. Negotiate your price before heading off.

A: "I would not recommend to stay in Old Delhi. It's very noisy and not very clean, also not many hotels to choose from. You can get to Chandni Chowk easily on the Metro..."
