mehendis

Henna tattoos (mehendis) are very popular. It' s very easy to get one from one of the many artists on the streets. Just be careful until it dries off or you may ruin it. The best way to remove the "clay" is with lemon, so that the design stays on your skin longer ;-)
Bargaining skills
by l_joo about Bargaining skills
" This is the best price only for you sir, 900 Rupees sir, best price for you.....", you walked to another shop, the best price of the same exact product is 250 Rupees. This is the crazy prices calling in tourists areas, some vendors just thinking this way, so if you don't want to spend too much, just be careful.

In between the Secretariat and the Rashtrapati Bhawan is the Vijay Chowk.
Although the North and South Block remains open on all days but prior official permission is required to visit and explore the place. Photography is restricted in the area and can be done with an official permission. It is a must see attraction for the tourists visiting Delhi
DIGNIFIED DECADENCE - SAFDARJUNG TOMB (1)
by Siddha3th
I chanced upon the Safdarjung Tomb thanks to a little bit of luck. Rolling by on a rickshaw along Lodi Road, my rickshaw-wallah asked if I wouldn't be interested in a hidden little gem. I don't need any second invitations, so off we turned into a quiet drive-way leading into a very crumbled entrance, full of intriguing character. I asked the guy to wait for me, and headed off inside (he would get a nice tip later on for recommending the place).
Safdarjung Tomb is one of those sights which won't exactly grab you at first sight, but will definitely grow on if you give it the chance. I found myself being pulled in by its unspoken history and unheard stories...
