Hotel Metro City

I got this hotel from the golden triangle package tour. It has a decent dining hall and the rooms were down basic with attached bathrom. There was a bit confusion with the type of room for us to stay. we opted for a double room instead of a twin sharing room, which they gave. Anyway, with all the confusion, language was a bit barrier, but in the end we finally got the room that we wanted. the hotel surroundings looks shabby as it is located in an alley. the view from our window was not a pleasant sight, but still quiet at nights.
They serve "common" continental breakfast of bread and cornflakes.
one unforgettable experience was when we checked-in, all the bell boys were in a rush to grab our bags and we ended up having 2 bell boys carrying our 2 back packs! unfortunately we only have very few spare change so werent able to give a decent tip leaving them disappointed, with a frown on their faces and didnt even bother to help us lock the room door, when it seems to be broken. Tsk tsk tsk. poor service.

Unique Quality: the bed was clean. gave me a good night's sleep.
