I am travelling to India in May 2007. I am looking for Goth, Rock, Punk Emo type of clothing and accessories (shoes, bags, hats jewelry) at wholesale prices for my shop in Australia. Can anyone tell me where to go for wholesalers?

Good day Mate!!!
If you come to Pakistan, there will be lots of things on your list which you can find for cheap. Here in Peshawar there are lot of Afghan rugs, Afghan jewelries, bags, hats, as well different kinds of clothing.

Wish you good luck,

Hi Mate

your destination is clydes at palika bazar which is in the basement right in the center of caunaught place. they bring all their stuff from thailand. if you buy stuff from here it will be reletively more expensive. my advise to you is to come here check the rates and then go the thailand and then order accordingly as you will know what and how to bargain. business terms. indians are damn smart at this. i'm an indian i know this. bankok for t shirts. thailand for bags shoes and replicas of all designs and types and china for fashion jewels(artificial lookalike silver jwels). not india my friend.

Peace & quiet at the red fort

by Yso

When in Delhi the noise and the people can sometimes just be too much.. In that case go to the red fort and wander around the gardens there. Although there are tourists (Indian & foreign) there are comparativemy few and because the fort is walled then the noise stays outside!

Unfinished Alai Minar

by Rupanworld

The Qutub complex has a number of monuments and historical remains. The Alai Minar is one such monument. It is the unfinished tower started by King Ala-ud-din Khilji who had wished to build another tower double the size of the Qutub Minar. He had built a mosque in the complex double the size of the existing mosque, but could not complete it because of his untimely death after finishing just one floor. The height of this one floor is 24.5 meters.

Lodi Gardens - Shish Gumbad

by MM212

Located within Lodi Gardens, this majestic mausoleum is known as Shish Gumbad, or the "Glazed Dome" in English. It derives its name from the glazed Persian tiles that decorate its façades (see attached photos). The mausoleum was built around 1500, some historians say for a minister under the reign of Sultan Sikandar Lodi, but others believe it to contain the tomb of the first Lodi Sultan Bahlul, Sikandar's father. Either way, the square, domed mausoleum is a beautiful example of Lodi-period architecture, one that replicated the neighbouring Bara Gumbad structure.
