Pondicherry Charming
stayed 2 nights at hotel de l'orient and it was like a journey back in colonial era. the hotel is near almost everything in pondicherry. beautiful room with character. friendly staff. breakfast could be better, still above average

One of the best hotels to stay in Pondy!
We were unlucky as we visited Pondy during the peak winter month. However , we did visit hotel as we wanted to see it having heard so much about the place.One look and we knew why this place is always booked !!
Unique Quality: We liked the ambeince and antique furniture , the entire deco of the hotel is very very very good!It has a romantic feel to it!

Would not recommend anyone to stay here if you can get the Le Dupleix instead.
