Pulau Weh--CASA NEMO: Comfy at Pulau Weh
Casa Nemo, a new open bungalow, is situated in Sumur Tiga beach. It's in the other part of island and in opposite direction of famous tourist spots such as Gapang and Iboih. The good news is, the bungalow is situated in a clrystal clear water beach. Good for swimming and snorkelling. A little annoyance in the beach is the garbage that (for me) bothered the beautiful scenery when you are swimming. Apart of that, it's a really good weekend getaway.
Unique Quality: Arriving in Casa Nemo, I feel like a postcard beach holiday comes out alive. The bungalow is neat and tidy. There is terrace and hammock for you to sit and relax, enjoying the breeze of the sea. The restaurant managed by local is also serving pretty good food. And I like the collection of comics and books available in the restaurant.
They have weekend and weekday price.

Hotel Medan: Affordable Hotel at the City Center
The last time I stay in this hotel was at last May. Spending 3 days at the hotel for the seminar. The service is just okay. They are not very responsive to the customers complaints. At least the price is pretty cheap. The electricity power sometimes cut off and need to wait at least five minutes until it gets on again.
Recommended !
Unique Quality: The location is very strategic right at the heart of Banda Aceh. Easy access to get foods. There's a food market which open only at night time name "reg" at the intersection in front of the hotel, open until late at night. There's also a supermarket name "Pante Pirak" about 10 minutes walk. The hotel also has a wireless internet connection at the lobby for their guess. Pretty helpful especially when you're on a business trip and need to get online to do some works.

Wisma Harti--Baroqah--etc: Accomodation in Simeulue
Wisma Harti
Situated in Jl Karya Perjuangan no 27, the people in Sinabang told me this is the most decent place to stay in Sinabang. The rooms are equipped with attached bathrooms and AC, with price of Rp 300,000/night.
Smong
Smong in Simeulue language means Tsunami. The owner decided to build shelter next to the house and rent out the whole house for home stay, post earthquake and tsunami. Trauma is a cause factor. Smong is surprisingly comfortable. I had no complains after 3 nights stay. I had big room with attached bathroom and AC.
Smong is situated in Jl Baru Sukakarya Sinabang. Tel : 0650 21670
Wisma Baroqah
Baroqah
You will have three-in-one benefits. Decent room, restaurant downstair and situated in a heart of Sinabang. Less attractive factor are noisy and shared bathrooms.
Baroqah is situated at Jl Pahlawan no 178. Tel 0650 21180
Unique Quality: There is no hotel in Simeulue, if you define hotel with imagination like "Holiday Inn".
This is not surprising. Simeulue is not one of the Indonesian's top destination.
Although there are some decent places to stay as described above.

Willy's Resort: Simeulue's Best Resort
Willy's Resort is situated in Busung village. This is considered as the best resort in Simeulue island (since they don't have other competitor) Willy's Resort has been long time there before the tsunami. This is mostly known among the waves seeker or backpacker who knows this place from the word of mouth.
Unfortunately, to book the room, I only have mobile number of contact persons, which I doubt they will work in the future. But let's give it a try
Dewi (owner) 0813 62526212
Nina 0813 60825014
Unique Quality: Wooden house Willy's has three main bed rooms. Upstair, they have six beds in dormitory style. Each bed is equipped with mosquitos net. They also provide breakfast and dinner upon request.

Hermes Palace Hotel: Aceh Best Hotel
At present, this is the best hotel in the province. Hermes Palace Hotel is the only four stars hotel in Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam. The hotel opens for public in October 2006 and all rooms all sold out.
Before the hotel's name was Swiss-Bel, but now it changes to Hermes Palace Hotel.
Unique Quality: Located near governor office, the hotel has nice lobby, decent restaurant, meeting rooms, swimming pool and fitness center. It is a bit pricey though, but still to reserve a room at the hotel until now is still an issue.
