BLUE MOON

What an impressive place to stay! It's nestled on a hill overlooking the sea. Very peaceful. Non intrusive staff but they are ready for a chat any time you are!

Daydreaming

The pool is quit small but very nice.
It is set in among rows of huge red hibiscus,
has a nice shower for rinsing off afterwards, and it is next to the bar in case you get thirsty.
You can rest on the edge and look out over the ocean, seeing cruise ships in the distance, fishing boats with their bright sails, or just daydream about living there forever.

Secluded

There are two smaller villas, one is near the pool, the other is a little more secluded. Each has a double bed with separate dressing area and a sitting area with a day bed that can be used as a child's bed or for an extra guest. Plus an Open air bathroom.
We stayed at the one more secluded called Blue Heaven, the first time we stayed there.
The second time we stayed in the top floor of the penthouse and had a birds eye view.

Away from the crowds

The Blue Moon was everything that I had hoped it would be.
Beautiful garden, quiet atmosphere, friendly people, and nice pool.
The first time we stayed here was the fall of '01. We liked it so well that we returned in '03. I hope to return again someday.
Here on this coast is the part of Bali that I love. I just hope it doesn't change to much.

Unique Quality: Quiet days at the pool overlooking the ocean,
beautiful sunsets, and a delicious dinner in the open air restaurant.

A dream come true

Blue Moon is a small high quality hotel where every effort is made to ensure guests enjoy their experience.

Unique Quality: Accommodation can be in one of the two apartments in the main villa (The view from the Penthouse is sensational) or in one of the two onw room free standing units. Twice we have been in the Blue Ocean unit which gives easy access to the pool and the restaurant. Here we have had a giant bed, complete with mosquito net, a small day bed, wardrobe/dressing room and a bathdoor with open air shower. There is airconditioning, a fan and windows that can be opened to catch the breeze.
The pool is small but is horizon in style so the sea continues over the lip. The gardens are beautful with hibiscus, frangipani, bougainvillea all flowering prolifically.
The Komang John Restaurant which looks out over the sea is good value for money and serves a mix of local and international foods. Often at night there will be music provided by Komang Bajing.
The staff are attentive and friendly, happy to talk to guests but not intrusive.
And the view....The sea seems endless, the fishing boats like brightly coloured insects as they come and go, and the dawna and sunsets are magic.
While the price may seem high, it is a boutique hotel and as such excellent value for money.
