I strongly recomment Komaneka Resort Monkey Forest for its oustanding services: the staff is very kind, courteous, attentive and charming. You can ask for a driver to pick you up at the airport [either without queuing up ordinary welcome, details in www.komaneka.com]. Jakarta Post is available every day. Also some books are at your disposal in several langages [English, Japonese, French].
In the rooms shampoo, bath soap, body lotion, conditionner, aromatic towels, kimonos and night gowns ["gandouras"]are available. You can either shower or/and bathe in bathtubs in the ground.
The SPA in the greens and with views on the paddy fields offers different sorts of massages by competent therapists. Before and after natural drinks made from herbs [really delicious] are offered to refresh you.
The restaurant serves Balinese/Indonesian food of all sorts, delicious, and hot or fresh towels are offered to clean your hands.
The painting gallery organizes exhibition with famous or less famous artists. One can also find a boutique inside the gallery where beautiful sarongs are hanged as well as little souvenirs.

Unique Quality: We loved staying at Komaneka Resort Monkey Forest which happened several times. We found there all what everyone can expect from such hotels. The villas were perfect in terms of cleanliness and service, located either in the lush vegetation or overviewing the paddy fields. I recommend to watch sunset coming down on the paddies! All details are looked after: the choice of textiles and of wooden furnitures, the welcoming flowered heart on the bed and its immaculate sheets. It was in our pool villa where we decided to celebrate our wedding anniversary with an outstanding Romantic Balinese dinner. The plunge pool was covered with flower petals and lighted with floating candles. Our dining room had been especially decorated with a Balinese black and white textile which illustrates the balance between the good and the evil, and a lot of candles were spread over the space. Magnificent. For sure the Balinese are artistic people! Let's not forget the infinite swimming pool in the greens where afternoon tea is usually served with delicious finger foods [either salted or sweetened]. It is not a too big hotel [20 rooms] therefore it keeps its intimacy and personalized relationship to customers and service. The care with which the staffs look after all of us, the cleanliness of the rooms, the details in the choice of textiles [always natural] and wooden furnitures, testify of the taste and vigilance of the owners. A great plus is that they are on the spot everyday and you can meet and exchange with them very simply. Always available for everyone. In case you have to wait in the lobby, water is kindly offered to you in a lovely glass basket.
