Beautiful settings in tropical bliss

I stayed there for 4 days and 3 nights and it was very comfortable, and the amenities were wonderful. I loved the pool area and the beach, very aptly named the Serenity beach. The rooms were just as luxurious and beautiful too..

Unique Quality: great views , postcard pretty

Nice hotel with beautiful private beach

We stayed at the Nikko Hotel and Resort for couple of days. We had a great time. We had room with ocean view. Beautiful, we are very satisfied.

They have a large area of swimming pool, very nice and beautiful private beach that no sales person can come in (the other hotels beach got somany sales person, they won't leave us alone until you buy something from them! No time to relax, it is very frustating sometime handling the sales person, I do understand though that they are trying to make money but sometime it's just too much).

They have a really good breakfast (the important meal for the day!). Good cafe, Good food and really kind and nice staff.

Anyway, I would like to go back to Nikko when we visit this fall. It is perfect for every occasion, Wedding, Annyversary, vacation.... I would totally recommend Nikko Hotel and Resort.

Good luck :)

Resort Life in Nusa Dua

Right when you enter the hotel grounds you are enveloped by the sultry breeze of Nusa Dua. You see the Indian ocean and you realize that you are right in front of the best beach view in South Bali. The hotel itself is a bit overpriced but we didn't know any better because we booked through Expedia. The facilities, and service is awesome, though.

Very nice people & clean luxurious rooms.

Unique Quality: The pool was great. The views were spectacular. Food was good but again, like everything in this place, the price is inflated like 7 times. This is truly remote resort living. Save the Niko Bali for your last 3 days in Bali.

great views

A lovely but pricey 7night stay Feb10-Feb17. Best reserved for special celebrations.
Approx cost:Ocean View Rm S$270 US$163 x 7 = S$1890 US1,141
Valuair 2px S$476 US293
Light Meals 8D 7N S$1,000 (US861)
Total S$3,366 US$2,070

No problems upon arrival or departure. When we got to the luggage belt, 3 or 4 porters had several bags around them. We spotted ours & calmly took it. No hassle from them. I wonder if they were on their best behaviour because there were two uniformed officers at the luggage belt. Phew!

When departing Bali, remember the Passenger Departure Tax Rupiah is 50,000 per px - they dont accept foreign currency.

We reserved our through the hotel website. Upon check in, they upgraded us to the lovely Deluxe Beach Front room at the Cliff Tower. Yippee! Great beach/sea views &nice pools.

For our 23rd wedd anniversary, we opted for their lovely Valentine's 6 course Western meal with music from the singing quartet in a Garden setting. Our wonderful Creator threw in for free - a huge full moon with rays that made the sea shimmer & gleam, stars & a light breeze - very romantic. AND No mozzies! Was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary wedding anniversary cake too.

A free shuttle is provided by DFS in Kuta. We bought our bottled water at the supermart in the bldg next to DFS, 3x cheaper than the hotel's. It's not safe to boil even the hotel tap water. They give two small complimentary mineral water bottles daily. To take the free shuttle back to hotel, you have to purchase something from DFS but no minimum purchase required.

The only downside to the hotel is the food. With prices, comparable to 5 star hotels in Singapore, they can do much better than the average quality and selection. However, we were very satisfied with other areas like rooms, views, service.

Timing is everything. We were fortunate not to be caught in any big conventions which may be common with big resorts.

Unique Quality: The Clifftop Tower lift lobbies are nicely situated and gives you great views of the pools, sea and beach. If you stay in the Deluxe Beach Front rooms, you can hear the waves at night - very soothing. Pools are very well maintained and great for relaxation. The Beach is pretty private with no one bothering you with sea activities or sale of knick knacks. The sea is very clean, beach umbrellas and deck chairs provided. I didn't get the usual stings from sea lice which bothered me in Thailand or Tioman. Also no sandflies. The sand is a little soft, so be careful when swimming at high tide - low tide is great as there's still plenty of water with gentle surfs.

Service staff at the eating outlets on the whole are very friendly, courteous and sincere. Room service was also good and so was the housekeeping.

Resort is set on sprawling grounds, well furbished, well maintained all round. The architecture is not ostentatious and blends in quite well. There's the gamelan music played by a trio in the lobby - the sound permeates to many areas, gives a nice Balinese ambience.

Rooms are fairly spacious, in good condition (at least Room 811 that we were in). Good extensive TV channels like BBC, CNN, Cinemax, HBO. Star Movies, StarWorld, National Geographic, Discovery etc. Some foreign language channels too like NHK, Italian, Dutch...Bathrooms included separate shower area and tub.

Great for relaxing and a quiet time for couples who enjoy a more solitary type of retreat for reading and resting, away from the hustle and bustle. By the way, the resort faces the east, so we get the sunrise rather than the famous bali sunset.

A Great Hotel at a bargain

We stayed here for five nights with our child. It was a little far from downtown and all the markets and restaurants in a secluded area,,,

just what we needed...peace and quiet and everything form camels on the beach to great food in the hotel and nice rooms.

The beach was not a beach for swimming with small children as the waves were quite rough, but the pool was fantastic and the sandy beach was enough with plenty of sunshine...

Unique Quality: Pool was great!!!

Views were breath-taking...

bali Nikko experience

Nikko bali is a great place to get away from it all. It located on Nusa dua, which is practically the beach only consists of 5 star hotels. You can not get to any other place without a car. Well, why would you, as you got your own white sandy beach, pools, camels, you name it, and you could get anything here.
There are 3 restaurants, all provides good food, and of course they are not really in a local price. You could take shuttle bus to Bali (runs once an hour) and, has dinner in Kuta, and back with taxi, it surely cheaper than eating in the hotel.
By the way, the best way to get cheaper price out of this kinds of top resort, is to buy the package outside of Bali. We bought the 4day 3 nights stay and round flights from Singapore, it was Bargain! We paid about half of the actually hotel rate this way! And it was such a treat after a 2 week backpacking trip.......

Unique Quality: Great pool, very good services.

Cool location

Nikko Bali is located in a hill and its beach is very clean. Huge pool. The room was ok but big. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and I couldn't stop eating. The crowd was not loud as you could always enjoy the time at resturant. I didn't do SPA in the hotel, but went to The Lotus Club all the time.

paradise on the paradise island

First let me just say that this hotel was probably the most breathtaking hotel I've stayed in. Situated on top of a cliff and overlooking the blue Indian Ocean, with quiet, pristine beach, one of the largest (and best) swimming pools in Bali, a 40 meter high observation tower, oversized rooms, luxurious bathrooms, and Balinese friendliness coupled with Javanese efficiency.

Located just to the south of Bali's upscale Nusa Dua hotel complex, the hotel is 25 minutes from the airport, 30 minutes from Kuta, and 5 minutes from Galeria Nusa Dua, an upscale shopping complex.

But with facilites that are top notch you may never want to leave the hotel. The pool complex itself has 4 pools all interconnected, including a swimable lagoon and a separate children's pool. The dining and wining options include 5 restaurants, 3 bars including a fun pub. A spa and fitness center round out the standard facilities. In addition there are also an open-air Balinese amphitheatre and camel safari on the beach plus three tennis courts.

Well what else can I say? This hotel is truly a paradise on paradise island of Bali.

Unique Quality: - One of the largest pools in Bali including a swimable lagoon and a 30 meter high water slide.
- Oversized rooms. Some of the rooms even allow you to dip right into the lagoon pool from the comfort of your patio.
- Breathtaking scenery
